Friends Enjoy the Range

On a beautiful day in Fall, four friends came with a parent to KSC to enjoy the experience of shooting. A couple of them had never shot a firearm before so not only was the new experience enjoyable but it was also educational. Near the end of their visit, they had an opportunity to shoot a vintage World War One firearm, a 1917 Eddystone. Each chambered the 30-06 round and took aim at the steel swingers 100 yards away. Each heard the ring of lead on steel after taking careful aim and pulling the trigger of the 100 year old firearm. The experience of a lifetime and the sense of accomplishment was evident as they posed for a picture with the firearm. That picture has been added to our Photos section of this website. The young men are from left to right, Ian Sorenson, Joe Radtke, Sam Radtke and Trey Anderson.
